Myrddin

The most famous magician of all was said to be the most important and influential advisor in King Arthur’s court – you may know him by his english name, Merlin.

Myrddin was said to have lost his mind after a bloody battle and escaped alone into the forest. There he lived as a wild man, with only the forest animals to keep him company. During this hermit period, Myrddin gained his powers of prophecy that would become the stuff of legend.
