An easy 11k walk up the Afon Twrch river to Upper Brynamman at the top of the Swansea valleys.
The walk is mostly lanes and B-roads until it reaches the village of Ystradowen. There it follows a disused railway line that has been transformed into a cycle and walking path. It leads directly to Upper Brynamman.
