A 16km walk through forest and National Trust upland.
This walk starts off leisurely following the Snowdonia Slate Trail through the woods to the village of Penmachno. Then there’s a steep climb to the very top of the village and an old stone drovers road that leads down and up the Eidda valley and over sheep farming hills to the village of Ysbyty Ifan. From there it’s a short walk through the country lanes to Pentrefoelas.
