Another challenging and hilly 16km walk.
It starts at Caerphilly Castle and meanders through suburban roads to the Aber Valley cycle trail which leads north through Abertridwr to the village of Senghenydd.
From there the trail heads west over Cefn Eglwysilan and picks up the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Walk and later a bridleway that leads off the hill and onto country lanes and footpaths down into Pontypridd.
